In the darkness of screaming night
I see your face, hidden by shadow
Firelight dancing in your eyes
The truth, foreboding, within my soul
Taken away by fear and fright
Blasphemous claims and rightful heirs
Tear limb from limb and heart from soul
Swirling dance of insanity
Sweet innocent face my only comfort
Rally against this craziness
Be with me this night alone
For tomorrow the end is coming
Trading things that should not be
Uneasy comfort a cloak of despair
Now I'm gone and you’ve got pain
To keep you company all your days
Screaming reaching bolting mind
Say the words I long to hear
Wasted on his empty ears
My world ends with your cool face
Skin so cold this cant be real
Realities dream heads here now
Brace yourself for her embrace
The energies within
Flow out in words unknown
Some secret lies being told
Open your ears to hear its cry
Some drifting soul within your eye
Calling me to set you free
Here we are once again
Set within stonework's time
Heavy boots trample trees
Creating fields for evil deeds
Power hungry fools they crave
No need for these do I yet have
For all I need is your sweet face
Smiling lips and bright brown eyes
My Life, my Light, my Dragonfly Let me fly away with you
Unto a better place
Yet this is not to be
For fire and hate consumes
And all is for some unknown hand
Perhaps there is no hand
Its by our will we're so insecure
Take me now, far away
Into your heart where I will stay
Until the time when I can say...
