Sleeping,
transported to some ethereal place, with eyes closed
where I feel your flesh like warm air on my skin,
our bodies tangling like spirals of smoke in nothingness.

Whispers in the void.
Mouths wet and warm,
silent words, shared,
merging into one song, one story, one dream.

Drifting apart as the dark flees,
returning to a solid place and solid form,
apart.
Waking to a new day.
