Hello again, Spirit who haunts my dreams
And my web sites - once again silently
Glide the lonely halls, float up to the beams
Of my consciousness. Ghostly entity!
What unease compels this visitation
When in life you are my sworn enemy?
You know I know yet sans hesitation
You proceed. A mere technicality
That you are counted among the living,
As I expect never more to see you
In this world. But no more grieving - the King
Of Hearts was always phantom through and through.
Haunt me anyway, be my Catherine,
I your Heathcliff crying out "please come in!"
