Rain patters softly against the glass
Time moves so slowly, I don't feel it pass
Hours go by and you are still on my mind
I'm unable to concentrate on distractions I find
I can see you clearly within my mind's eye
Your sparkling eyes shining like a bright summer sky
I hear your whispering voice softly in my ear
And I turn my head toward it to see if you are near
But it's just my imagination playing tricks again
I put up with it, because I dream of you now and then
Dreams become memories and cannot be taken away
Even the fast elusive fantasies, that help pass the day
Each leaves a lasting impression wherever it goes
And whether dreams come true, I guess no one really knows.

Essence of Nostalgia ~

I agree. Very sweet and dreamy. You pull

us in and read to us so quietly. Love lost

... found, who knows, but it was beautiful ~

More Please ~
