Sits and lies and waits and waits
Hidden behind the metal gate
Stirring left and twitching right
Do not wake the dragon tonight

He’s always there to see & hold
Don’t’ you worry he’s seldom cold
Keep him closed behind the bars
Cuz’ when he strikes, he leaves deep scars.

When at rest he’s kind and sweet
Don’t wake the dragon from his sleep
He’d shift and twist and maybe turn
Just mind your hands or he may burn

When he wakes at the start of day
Your eyes will show what you may say
So hold your breath and do not scream
For the rising dragon coming out of a dream
