I reached my hand
up into the sky
remembering you today
Sweet friend and
only ever lasting lover
I drew a breath with
A gentle sigh,
and reached a little
Higher for a star
twinkling down into my hand
burning bright into my heart
Dreaming back to
You my love and when
It first began to start.
Late in the evening
your essence
drapes my chesterfield
and I feel you everywhere
a clock is ticking ,as my eyes
begin to close, knowing much
more I began to feel again

With the deep night upon
