Images dance behind my closed eyes
I see my shattered dreams

They seem to be mocking

Saying "Never come true"

They jump and twist

"Haha, fooled you"

To think I ever had a chance

To make those dreams a reality

A lost heart, no longer believing

No longer hoping and praying

I've finally seen the cruel world

I've been thrown into it

It feels like a bucket of cold water dumped on me

I've finally woken up

From my fantasy life

And now, I have no more dreams
