I slept comfortably with thoughts of you in mind
I felt that you were here and I could relax and unwind
Simple thoughts that ran too slow
Because I thought of you and you had to go

Sleepless nights of tossing and turning
While at the same time I felt the immense burning
A burning within that couldn't be described
Sanctimonious feelings I held inside

Hoping for a simple breather in life
Knowing the truth..
You are gone for life...
