Dedicated to Your Wicked Girl

Alone in her bedroom she lies
Where once there would be two
In a bed now missing the man,
The greatest love she knew

The memories rush through her mind,
Tears well up in her eyes
Full of loneliness and despair
Softly she sobs and cries

Longing to feel his strong embrace,
To feel his loving touch
And to hear his kind words of love
Once more would mean so much

The pain should have eased over time
So many years gone by
Why must always the one remain?
When the other must die?

Slowly she begins her journey,
The pain fading away
Returning to the land of dreams
She ends another day

She goes back to the loving arms
That held her long ago
To the only man she would love
Each night telling him so
