Lightest touch upon a cheek,
feather soft, leaves trails of blue.
Time moves on, the longest week,
memories of hours with you.

Golden sunlight hits your hair,
breezes from the ocean flow,
move the deep, the dolphin's lair,
places only lovers go.

Patterns reveal and caress,
simple things that one may miss.
Smallest smile brings dreams that bless,
moments that are purely bliss.

Thank you love, for showing me,
things that I could never see,
'till the day when I found thee,
which before, could never be.

This pleasant read...

...was marred by three things that bothered me.

"trails of blue" seemed like an easy/forced rhyme, when I suspect there are greater images you might have offered.

The second is a persnickety personal dislike: I hate the word "bliss"... it's one of those tired old things that seem to appear when someone wants to sound "poetical".

I wish the last verse hadn't abandoned the previous rhyming pattern.

This piece has promise!
