My Love for you

has glistened

like dew drops

on the petals

of newly blossomed flowers

in the day's

first sun

My mind

with thoughts

that traced and floated

through the air

with

your breath

thickly

coating

each and every one

My skin

has often tingled

with

the thoughts

of our love

mingled

tangled, combined

and

all reservation

coming

quickly undone

My heart

has often broken

when your words

of

love

have gone

unspoken

locked away

not sitting softly

on your lips

rarely

flowing

from your finger's tip

But often

I

sit here

hopeful

that these feelings
and

emotions

Will allow me

to abandon

fears

and watch them fly

That one day

I'll be sitting

with my love

who knows

of giving

and

who rejoices

at each

simple

twinkle

in my eyes.
