Rum’s scent hangs thick around you
I breathe the flavor
“Just one more drink!”
Then we’ll go for a ride
The destination is known
To both of us, and we both wanna go
Upstairs, In the bed.. A kiss or two?
Sleep will be a foreign thing tonight
Laying with you. Breathing like
It’s going out of style
I call your name, just awhile longer
Your touch is secure
Feeling, skin against skin
Good luck finding my clothes
I scream for you one more time
All over, spinning inside my head
You stroke the hair out of my face
To view the pleased expression
The feeling of you inside dissolves
Smoking the life-giving cancer
