In the early dawns mist,
When the sun’s golden beams,
Radiates through the willow tree’s limbs;
With the beauty of a million twinkling stars,
Bringing forth a wondrous new day.
With the aroma of tender fuchsia’s,
Kissed and caressed with the morning’s dew;
When its petals open to the sun’s golden rays,
This is how I picture you as you sleep.

As I look toward the mountainous horizon,
Seeing a red hooded hawk in flight;
As it glides with a quiet elegance
In your eyes I see the beauty of the sky.
I hear your voice in the silence of the wind,
On an Autumn’s afternoon;
As the delicate cool breeze flows over me,
Your stillness filling the longing of my mind.

I can smell the aroma of your cologne in the distant rain,
As each droplet falls kissing the parched soil;
The clean, refreshing and earthy fragrance of you,
Its aroma surrounding me with dreams of you.
While the sun sets softly behind the mountain tops,
And the sounds of nature fills the air;
Stars twinkling in the clear dark sky,
It is the beauty of your silhouette, I see in the shadows of the moon.
