so you
gave yourself up
suspended in the air
by wristbones
on skeletal tree
bled down as you cried out grace
left your self to return
spoke out love and other big words
put a friend in charge
took your leave
now his successor
wears a big shiny hat
hates me for my love
and i don't believe he'd have sat at your table
he'd have sent a representative
who'd ask the year of the wine
and the freshness of the fish

So.. here we are, long after ...

the crucifixion and the Pope still doesn't love either you or me. Simply because we have an occasional affinity for a little pussy on the side.

Howling at the humor in this one; pay attention and read it well!
