These words were pre-ordained,
Written at the beginning of time
Without my consent or fore-knowledge,
Carved into the very fabric of time and space
For me.

This life was lived long before the
First life crawled from the sea and gasped its
First breath.

As it unfolds, I see
This life was made for me.
Each choice an
Inevitability.

Free will, then, is a
Lie we believe
To make time’s passage
Easy.

Imbued with all I need
To fulfill my
Destiny, I accept each
Moment with deep, abiding
Gratitude, and a
Big smile on my face.

I don’t need grace, or
God, to know that
Things are as they
Should be.

Only that they are.
