In gathering
the lace
and pulling
it down
I laid
exposed
before him.
My skin
was warm
without the goose bumps
I’d come
to expect.
Shiver me timbers
it was easy
to take him
in my mouth.
Wrapped around
his skin
I was confounded
by my own.
