warm as the fallen rain
Seep into your thirsty Earth
Hear the sigh of my contentment
soft as the whisper of wings
Let me speak to your deep, watery soul
Of all the dews
Of all the mornings
Past and yet to come
The fire of our spirit
United in creative force
From the fire, we are passionately, fiercly reborn...
And yet again
You are as tender as a new flush of moss
I liked this very much, Image. It is reverential without being silly, and that last line is a gem!
it reminds me of foundation. it is the best way i can say that it comes to me. nicely written though. this stanza i really like:
Let me speak to your deep, watery soul
Of all the dews
Of all the mornings
Past and yet to come
Liked this alot, especially
Hear the sigh of my contentment
soft as the whisper of wings.
What a beautiful image this brings to me. ~ J
