Should it be mourning?
Should it be night?
Should I grab the doctor by the jugular?
And choke her with my pain?

You were a lump in my throat,
a knot in my knee,
indegestion from my last meal,
a spasm in my spine,
a twitch in my eye,

and I hate to love you.
