Im dedicating this poem to Cookiejar with all my love

Embracing the Pain

One life seemingly is kissed with hope and joy,
Easing through life without an effort,
While others fight through every day,
Living alone in a world full of hurt and pain,
.
Where does the difference lie?
Who is the one that draws the line?
Is one person born marked for pain and suffering?
While others are more favorably looked upon?
.
No one has the answers,
Although our spirits gives us clues
Certain information invisibly disclosed
When reflecting through eyes warped with painful tears
.
When searching for fairness is unsuccessful
Asking why immortalizes a paralysis
Finding the cause offers no real peace from the pain
When the only effects allowed are foremost in it’s final resolution
.
Placing the blame on an ineffective deterrent,
Rendering wounds incapable of fully healing,
When what seems the only cure,
Will be found when before God we are kneeling
.
Having no power over what can be done,
Only over what our future will be,
Is death the only key which will set us freed,
From our pain's most powerful suture.
.
Embracing our pain enables our souls,
Exposing the immortal strengths dwelling deep within,
Pain no longer has a stronghold on our bodies,
When we refuse it into our mind spirit and soul.
.
Allow your spirit to spread its wings,
Deny ownership of the pain and hurt,
Free your mind so that it may discover,
The truth of our goodness for which we have fought.
