Emerald Isle

I hear her call,
She calls to me
My sweet Emerald Isle.
“Come to my shores,
come home to me.”
She says from across the sea.
“I am love,
I am home,
I am wonderful to thee.”
Says my sweet Ireland.
“I am all that you seek and more,
you’ll never want from me.
I am home of the Celtic Gods,
Druids,
And pagans.”
She tells me so sweetly.
“Once upon my shores you step,
you’ll never leave,
never regret,
never look back.
You’ll not want to.
I am in your heart,
In your blood,
In your soul.
But I do not have to tell you that,
You’ve always known it to be so.
I am beautiful to thee,
As ye are to me,
My lonely child.
Push the loneliness aside,
I am always at your side,
My beautiful child.
Fore one day you’ll see,
That you will come to me,
My lovely son.
When the day comes to be,
That when you come to my shores for me,
We will be happy as can be.
My son, will have come home to me.
To his Emerald Isle.
