She was emotionally brought up to hate them, her father’s torture teaching her.
She grew up to secretly hate life, with a smile on her face, to hide her pain.
She grew older, prettier, and lonelier. She knew if she kept her mistrust she would only live in prolonged pain.
At night, she cried, begged, pleaded, for fate to give her a chance at happiness.
It would never come. Every time one would come close, she would bite them and then push them away.
She tried to pretend happiness with some men, only to stray.
She once asked Ms. Fate why she never had her chance at happiness, only to find she ran from it the whole time.
Don’t be mad at her, it was not in the cards for her.

Dam has broken ...

First step, is to recognize

there is a problem.

Next ~ to heal ...

An emotional read.

Sad ... Pain throughout.

Maybe you need to reshuffle

the deck my friend, even up the odds.

Always hope ... dream.

Liked this deep poem ~!!
