Hold steady hips swaying subtle
lips searching empty air for the coaxing magnet
hiding out where I can’t quite reach

It teaches me how to crave unashamed,
blissful in my ignorance
I’m still unsure of which direction his pulse is pumping
blood in but another deep breath reminds me

it doesn’t matter
at the moment

& ghost sighs distract the discontent from lingering longer
but never long enough before receptors remember
I’m alone in this skin
