EMPTY ROAD
Some things cannot be done,
some things can't be undone,
better to wise up,
find a spot on the map
and stay there.
I did more than I could,
it's time to conclude,
and if you find me wrong,
call it imperfect song,
I don't care.
The time took its toll,
and made great things small,
denominating pigs
to various human leagues,
it's funny!
For Crete I will come back
with any short of luck,
where nights can be true
and days can be blue
and sunny.
I passed last week end
together with a friend,
remembering old times,
going through our petty crimes,
and drinking.
Now this empty road
looks like a heavy load,
I'll take it in strait course,
without any remorse
or blinking.
