Those who say love is like a rose
Have never felt the thorns
Those who hold thier soul-mate in their arms
Will never have to feel alone
Why is it I feel only the pain
And never the warmth and peace
I feel so alone, my only wish
Is to lay down my head and let my life cease
I wish for no more lonely days
And cold and endless nights
I wish for no more promises
That cover up the hollow lies.

I am glad

Phew....

I am so glad that you've submitted something else.

For my own reasons, this touch a sore spot.

perhaps you will let us have more of your poems.
