The time may come,
When a distant light,
Reveals to me the proper end.

Until that day,
My life will be filled,
With sorrow, regret and longing.

I’ve shed tears,
And blood in pain,
And the confusion has driven me crazy.

I’ve tried to cheat,
To take my own life,
Some people aren’t worth that high of price.

I live as I see fit,
My life is my own,
No one has yet come to control me.

I wait for the day,
When one will come,
That will show me direction, a purpose, a meaning.
