Endlessly spacious,
Unbounded and alone,
a mindless moonscape.
No trees, no sound
in the noiseless wind
of the unspoiled desert.
Where stars scream silent
beyond the social order,
before there was ego.
Now, between the dark and
pillowed sheet of pink day,
you can spread your arms.
