It resides in optimum allure
There, in the dark room,
Down the shadowed hall
And out into the secretive forest,
Where trees suggest sex at a glance
With their intertwined limbs.

Treading softly
On the warm, moist grass
Eyes clear, even in this dim setting.
Following his scent…

The pheromones intoxicate
Through nostrils and lips
Down slowly through the throat
And settling inside…
Seizing lungs, belly and heart,
Begging for a tangible morsel
To add girth to this lustful aroma.

Follow, coaxing…deliberate…soft
His suggestion hypnotizes me…
I’m coming, past tomorrow
Through years and months not yet lived…
I will meet you there…
And bask in the reward
Of a patient, unspoken conquest.
