The spice of life has been blanded
A collage of elements spat upon me
By men acting as roosters in a cock-fight.

Telegraph it to the whole world,
I want to yell, "Oh my, your spacious territory
Has been violated!" Sarcasm intended.

Wisps of auburn hair obstruct my view as
White lace curtains billow in the space between my body and the wall.
Indigo ink stains my hands from numerous letters written
In the thunderous silence of cold-shoulder-given.

Candle light illuminates the dusk darkened room.
Creating eerie shadows in the steeple of my mind.
I watch insects burrow into soil too frozen

And picture us so much like them.
Our view convexly skewed, twisted sideways and out.
All we can see is the yacht of our want in front of ourselves

Everything else suspect and be-damned.
Spatial wonders hold no attention from me this eve,
As I ponder the key to unlock this drama.
Perhaps a medicine to cure our selfish disease.

Perhaps...
Perhaps... Perhaps..
My flaccid thoughts dissipate, as my selfish existence
Spied the want of my heart descend from his coach in the courtyard.
