O aesthete glorious! beauty impart'd
Such wisdom thee possess and nev'r depart'd.
Unmatch'd in elegant aplomb and charm,
To recognise allure and mean no harm.
A beauteous form thou swiftly declare;
Especiall' thine own with praise to a hair.
A rightful doing, allow no doubt:
Who ever could express ill word about
What slender, graceful body age permits?
Already summer's going, one admits.

O seeker after the profound o'erlooked,
Enquiring always into spheres nev'r brooked;
But rapid now retorts await fools who
With galling insolence dare question you.
In glamour, intellect thee thyself attest
Thine eminence, but arrogance detest.
Proclaim'd in poem and feign'd aphasia,
Who ever could doubt thy wit, Aspasia?
If being good when sophisticate thee;
Greek doest prove grand sophists all must be!

O Mistress, ev'n Gods must themselves admire
Genius against whom others ev'r conspire!
Esteem'd above all others to discern
Precisely knowledge that's fitting to learn.
In repartee, how quick with wordy scour
To dazzle onlookers by verbal power.
Forgive me, friend, I'm not fit to recite
Deserved honours I this moment write.
'Tis nothing like sagacity so sought,
Thy modern style pretensions suit me not,
A better fit perhaps - anachronistic thought.
