Stumbling over thoughts
All the broken hurdles
Misinformed reminders
Creating a changed mind

I try to understand
Why the mental connections
Fade and wear the lost and found
Leaving all that I’ve learned
Slowly unwound.

I see your face quite clearly
It’s beautiful
like a million stars
One would say unforgettable
Yet, I have no idea who you are

Mind and memory, a simple magnet
All my life, a VHS tape
All the world interlaced
Scene by scene, a life erased.

Believe me even if just once
I apologize without blame
Without that first introduction
Our lives wouldn’t have been the same.

A belated welcome to Lit. I find this much more appealing than your first posting yesterday. It provokes some thought on the reader's part on the images and feelings you present.
