I don't want to talk about decorating
or about the radio show host
I'm not interested in Oprah
or the details of your friend's troubles
I know you don't want to hear
about my day at the office
or sports or music or books
let's try not to talk about the kids for a while

let's don't talk at all
we should sip dark wine
look at the stars
soothing music
trade a smile
playfulness becomes arousal
arousal becomes hunger
hunger becomes need
indulge, demand, grasp, feed
culminate ecstatic emancipation
profound bass note
echoing through us
too deep to hear
vibrating every bone

retreat to the font
nature's preeminence
the tropical lushness
where our souls were born

our hands, joined, open the door
our voices evoke the spirits
shake off the shackles
return life, youth

step with me
into the radiant pool
intoxicating warmth
seeps into our bodies
through our beings

hold me so tightly
while we shudder uncontrollably
in orphic revelation

journey with me
where no other can approach

unite
catalyze
epiphany

A familiar occurence....

......I recognise this. Beautifully framed and carried along, gathering speed to the - um - climax.
