Is this what they call eternal?
Moments lingering
even when all is over.

Rainfall reminds me of you.
Everything reminds me of you.

All is dead now.
All hope.
All faith.
But this haunting.

It persists
even if it was a lie.
Which it was..
wasn't it?

It was your game
One of your many games.
So childish..
a man who plays practical jokes
with people's hearts.
What were you trying to achieve?

How preoccupied you are with yourself..
How grand your plans.
Your dreams of conquest.
Of glory.
Did you think I'd step in your way?
Try to destroy you?
How could you?
I loved you.

You were so sweet once.
I saw the boy in you.
What happened?
