Fear grips my soul as I step into the new tomorrow
Raw emotions tying me to yesterday's sorrow
I long to throw off the restraints which hold me fast
Knowing our friendship the ages shall last
Bound together thru more than this short lifetime
Learning together, the heights we continue to climb
Tho you're gone and no longer with me
I shall remember what has set me free!
A new life awaits and is calling my name
Along with the knowledge life won't be the same
My soul brother, you'll always be with me in life
Watching o'r me in good times and in strife
And when we meet again in the great beyond
We'll share the love, which has always been our bond.
