Speaking softly in screams
Crying so loud I can’t be heard

Bound by my life’s choices
Pinioned to my cross of desires

Ever seeking, never finding
The eternal waltz of pleasurable pain

Life weighs heavy in my limbs
How many deaths we feel before we slumber!

The pulse that is your light; I am drawn
Sloughing my shroud I turn my life up loud!

Pleasure, the star I follow home to body
Led astray by the useless fears of mind

To feel your lips, you skin, your touch
The bane of thought whipped away from me

Nice balance...

between despair and desire.
