Enzymes for lovers,
Drip after coaxing
An artichoke ripe, ready
Poised, steaming

So thorny beautiful on plate
Magazine covers, but through
Your lips, parted to insert
The leathery leaf for scraping

Drawn and sucked from the rough surface
It gives so little, drooling butter and lemon
Garlic if you prefer and more butter
The perk is surfacing

Closer to the tender heart
Cut so selfishly, a bit for you
A bit or two for me,
We barter for what is more pleasant

Dragged through the trough
The squirt of gland unknown
Tasting orally, jaws tickled
What you could not imagine
How the world can change
From one ugly vegetable
Cumming in your mouth.
Wrong.
Your mouth cumming
In your mouth
