A brief flicker
your eyes on mine
the faint touch
your fingertips in my hair
the soft carress
your knuckles across my neck
smothing back my collar as I gaze up
your handsome face.

I wait for your lips
descending to mine
your breath becomes mine
I softly sigh
my thoughts stunned to silence
all my existence is in this kiss
this first kiss
from you.

Nice

Beautifully captures the essence of an anticipated first kiss.

You have encapsulated budding passion...

in this one phrase: " my thoughts stunned to silence... all my existence is in this kiss". A beautiful poem and a beautiful way to remember one's first kiss.

Beautiful

This is a really beautiful poem about a sensual moment between two lovers. Sometimes eroticism is in what is left unsaid. Thank you.
