lying
to each other
with each other
experimenting
learning
filling a longing
with tongues touching
tasting scotch
ashtray mouths
& each other
controlled by desires
as the music seduces
infecting like a perfect drug
as acrid sweat
and wetness
permeate the room
The music ends.
So does the moment-
Time for a smoke.
The air outside is crisp . . .
bitter for having been excluded.
Smoke exhaled
Exposes the cold.
Wanting to be warm,
once again,
entwined.
