A good ride-ing

A dance, my eyes had a time! I love the title and how it relates to the two odd words out.

I dare you to write a verse where one doesn't swallow the last syllable but makes a tongue to back of teeth sound, like the word 'tempt'. It might make a good bookend for this piece. (You know, swallow and spit? You fill in the blanks here... <big smiles>)
