~~~~~~~~~
My eyes they burn like fire,
looking deep into your soul,
as embers burning bright,
they burn hot as reddened coal.
They tell you that I'm hurting,
that I can't stand the pain.
They tell you life feels over,
that there's nothing left to gain.
They tell you how I struggle,
not to think about your touch.
They tell you it's impossible,
because I miss it very much.
They tell you I still love you,
and will forevermore.
Just now it wont be spoken,
not like it had before.
They tell you I still need you,
and it's far to much for me.
for I'm finding it impossible,
to let your heart go free.
They tell you you're a liar,
I can't believe that it is true,
that you no longer love me,
not like you use to do.
They tell you that I'm sorry,
but meeting you I don't regret,
that the time we had together, love,
oh, I never shall forget.
But they tell you it's not easy,
luvvy, now to let you go,
but I do because I love you,
is all you need to know.
And yeah...
They tell you that I'm angry,
because you broke my heart,
then shattered all our dreams,
and ripped my world apart.
They say I'm disappointed,
and bruised beyond repair.
They tell you how I'm hating life,
and how I think it's so unfair.
They tell you of the solitude,
for once again, I now retreat.
They say I feel like quiting,
for life again has got me beat.
They tell you of such sadness,
for I will never be the same.
I'm just a shadow hiding,
and for this I feel no shame.
I guess it doesn't matter
what now happens anyway,
because my eyes have spoken,
all they really had to say.
