Eyes of fire eyes of ice
this is how i view
the thee,
even after the long years
of our divide

thunder roars in
mine once dead heart
a torrential wave of
memories washes
over mine tormented
mind

does thou still want me?
does thou still need me?
are the words that tumble
from thine soft lips,

I want thee
I need thee,
I loave thee
I love thee.

eyes of fire, eyes of ice
even after the long years,
this is how i view thee,
even after the long
Years of our divide

I turned from thee and
felt thine arms slip
about mine waist,
mine heart freezes at thine
touch,

I beg of thee,
leave this in the past,
to reminisce of
what has been and gone
shall hurt more than heal

It is then i feel kisses of butterfly
lightness brush mine cold neck
spreading fire through mine veins

eyes of fire eyes of ice
I know longer view thee this way
after the long years of our
divide,
the ice has gone,
melted by thine kiss,
I spin on my heal to face thee
fire burning through me
thine lips press urgently
against mine,

Take me home
