A room crowded with faces and all I can see is you
sticking out at me as sun beams breaking bleak clouds.
Radiant Beauty shining thought the grey
dull existence of normalcy.
Your beauty is more then mortal
and I feel an undying devotion to it
as the pious unwaveringly praise their gods.

Artic snow skin and heart’s blood lips.
Plains fire hair and raven down nails.
How could you be so magnificent?
Every step you take closer to me
beats in time with my aching heart,
closer,,, faster,,, still I can’t breath
with out your being reborn with your kiss.

Take my soul as your own my precious,
make me a new with your dark arts,
cleanse me of want for any other,
baptize me with your nightmarish bliss,
and send me into a lust filled torpor
where you can haunt me for all eternity.

You use beautiful language here, and some nice metaphor, but in my opinion, this could be shaved down, show don't tell so much. A lovely tribute to it's subject.

I do not use the thermometer
