i sit here and watch you all passing me by
and cant shake the feeling, your all waiting to die
hollow smiles and furrowed brows rest above lowered eyes
that have never seen the wonder of butterflys
does your heart live ?, does your soul yell
within the hollowness of that hard worn shell
is there anything left in you that yearns to be free
have you silenced the screams of "i need to be me"

are you all dead people waiting to live?
or live people waiting to die?

do you know?, do you care?, do you see it at all?
do you lay down to life just so you cant ever fall?
wake up, stand up, rejoice in your task
air is much sweeter if you lay down your mask
lay down your armour, your arms, and your fear
tears, honestly felt will wash your path clear
if only you risked it you would find out your tall
a loud and a proud race God's most favoured of all

are you all dead people waiting to live?
or live people waiting to die?
