A soft, chilly breeze
Trembles the empty trees
In late December

Quiet and still
As if in a trance
I watch her

Long, flowing dark hair
Liquid evergreen eyes
Soft red lips

Contrast with beautiful, light brown skin
She stood naked as a newborn infant
Shivering as the wind picked up

Dazed, frustrated and limp
I watch her through glazed eyes
Almost begging to be her source of warmth

She does not see, though
Only what i pretend to be
A hollow tree

Slowy...i fade
From her world, leaving me to ponder.
Had i even existed at all?
