"Prince charming on a white
horse" seems so fake to the
real thoughts we live our
lives hoping for that white
horse

One look and he loved you
that sounds so not true,
running after you with only
your one shoe for a clue saving your life just when you need it making you owe him that's how
he played it

Cinderella you might just have
it so wrong he might just be all wrong,
ever think of his white horse as a cover
for his bad thoughts,
his good looks a perfect
disguise a silk voice for his smooth lies

Timeless beauty like yourself should not be
fooled by a wolf in sheep's clothes but I guess
its a fairytale gone wrong just an ugly truth to a story we call life

Jessy :

both your poems are extremely thought provoking : this one a Wake-up call to Romanticists to keep their eyes wide open & cell phones charged'n handy in case the Knight in Shinin' A. turns out to be a Wolf in S's clothin' !! 5-ed !

Anyone who believes in fairy tales in the first place is not a realist. Of course there's no white horse, princesses have to save themselves these days and the best "prince" if the one who keeps her on her toes, who is not her savior but her equal, her mental match, so to speak.

Enjoyed it, keep writing!
