Insecurity leads to obscurity
Obscenities uttered without thought
We're not the master race
We're the bottom of the peak
The experiment for something greater

These speeches given by our leaders
To please and demand our respect
To tease and reprimand our pain

Too little, too late
Too brittle to break
Our words, our faith
Lost to a world we hate

The pain weeds out the weak and lost
The rain washes away the meek but costs
Us more than we know
We lose it all to gain too little
A race of weaklings born for death

The pain forgiven by believers
Disdain forgotten by deceivers
The same licentious hypocrites

(Chorus)

Too hateful, too faithful
Too painful to exist
Our words, our faith
Lost to a crowd we hate

We were never meant to be this way
To reach so high and fall so far
We deceive so we believe in redemption
Seek retribution for all the crimes
We don't know we commit
For every breath, every curse
We take a step closer to the hearse
And learn; there's no rebirth
