Faithless?

Finally free of the gracelessness
And the dancing masses,
Insensitive
To the tolling bell:
Hell calling to abash
Like a child's taunt,
Empty of meaning, yet an alibi
Shot from the lips as from a ballista,
Sentencing to another term of belief.
