broken boned
with a silver tone
she stands alone
wondering

quarter to four
he slinks through the door
her whimpers, his roar
clashing

heart aleap
from him, she reaps
tapered treats
longing

two entwined flames
both different, the same
flushed with shame
imploring

ravishing her features
a casanova creature
with lessons to teach her
imparting

coaxed vocals unheard
glossy wings of a bird
he speaks without words
soaring

clarity retreating
guided hands fleeting
pained visage receding
crashing

his violent calling
unspeakable sin
an angle fallen
dying   to   begin
