I have fallen from my grace,
Into a deep, dark void.
I struggle and wish to regain what
I have lost, but at times it seems hopeless.
I viewed myself as strong and noble,
And now all is see is unrest and imperfection.
I am told this is not the case,
And that forgiveness is a must and vital to healing.
But no matter what I try,
I cannot bring myself to forgive.
I hear what you are saying,
And I understand what you want.
Give me time and I will give it once more,
But only time will heal my self-worth and pride.
A pride that I feel has been lost,
Lost to the deepest, darkest depths of the sea.
Stand by me,
Just a little while longer.
I am here,
I have stayed and do not want to leave.
Help me find me again,
For I feel I have fallen from your grace.
