Melancholy dreams, whispers fading to silence...
where does the road lead us, now?
Hopes, desires, are they really what we need?
Or do the visions play false.
Rushing too fast into the unknown,
we do not see the brick wall in our way.
We let things that aren't truth blind us,
we let those objects denied for too long drive us into that which isn't meant to be.
Just for the sake of contentment?
We force ourselves to believe in something just because we're tired of where we are...
When if we would just open our eyes, the edge of the darkness is right beyond our fingertips.
