Non-Erotic PoetryFear In My SoulMy darling, I have failed
and this life has swallowed me whole.
I didn't mean to end up like this,
I didn't see it coming.
I've lost all that I have known
and what I'm suppose to be
will never find me.
I wonder around this darkness
in an empty shell.
The battle that rages inside me
will never be won.
I'm hopeless in this search
and I fear what will come
but my darling, the one
thing that scares me the most
is knowing I'm not good enough
for your love!
